Seoul Counseling Center provides mental health counseling services to foreigners, expats, and overseas-returning Koreans seeking support from US-trained counseling professionals. As one of the leading centers in South Korea in this field, we continue to strengthen our clinical and administrative support teams.
Intake Coordinators are the first point of contact for clients seeking counseling and play a foundational role at Seoul Counseling Center. This position requires the ability to manage multiple moving parts in order to help clients access the most appropriate services, while also maintaining efficient, thorough communication with team members to ensure smooth coordination of care.

Description of Work
Manage incoming client inquiries via emails and phone calls
Verify and maintain client insurance information and provide accurate coverage information to clients
Manage all relevant information for first session scheduling for clients
Oversee client experience from the first point of contact with the center to the first session
Identify clients’ service needs and triage to the appropriate counselors
Answer any questions that clients might have regarding starting counseling
Educate and support clients on signing up for an online EHR platform and completing all necessary forms to begin receiving services
Adhere to our Center policies on privacy and confidentiality regarding sensitive client information and records
Coordinate with clients looking to change their counselors and ensure that they are able to continue receiving services in an efficient and timely manner
Assist in improving the client experience utilizing firsthand knowledge gained from working with clients
Collaborate with various center staff in other departments in order to ensure that clients have a smooth transition to counseling
Track outcomes on quantitative and qualitative levels and report to Management on a regular basis
Contribute to the continued improvement and development of department operating procedures and internal resources

Required Qualifications
Eligibility to work in South Korea
Fluent in English
Advanced or fluent in Korean
Customer service experience
Strong communication skills
